Bob Rude – Here’s a few from yesterday I did. These are similar to the “in-camera” motion blur but I did them on the computer. Someone shared a similar shot on FB and it got me to try some again. All of the photos except the train car are from a foggy afternoon in Kent Park about 4 weeks ago.

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California.
One of the starkest landscapes. It was scary to be alone in the Anza-Borrego Desert with only 3 and half liters of drinking water in the car. The visitor center person recommended this dirt road to the buttes but no further. He warned that I would need a 4×4 vehicle beyond that, I think he was every bit correct. With this tiny rental car, I was happy to even visit these spots. Beyond the worry of car breaking down in the middle of nowhere and no one in sight, the other dangers were the sharp cacti and possibility of rattle snakes. Luckily, no snakes were seen.

Judy Mitschelen – Much as I love hearing the robins sing, I’ve never considered them worth much of my camera’s time. Surprisingly, once I got the bird bath filled, they turned out to be quite the scene stealers. However, this morning I observed the first baby squirrel venturing out of the most coveted knothole in the neighborhood so my camera may be trading in feathers for fur before long.
